Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using liltra ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of service
liltra is an AI-powered pronunciation coaching platform that analyzes your speech and provides personalized feedback and drills. The service is currently offered free of charge during our beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future.
User accounts
Currently, liltra operates without mandatory user accounts. Your progress and settings are stored locally in your browser. If you create an account in the future, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
User content
You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service, including scripts, text, and recordings. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing pronunciation analysis. We do not store your recordings on our servers.
Audio processing
Audio recordings are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis. By using the recording features, you consent to this processing. Audio is analyzed in real-time and is not permanently stored by liltra. Google's use of this data is subject to their own privacy terms.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, content, drills, and IPA diagrams, is owned by liltra and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pronunciation analysis is generated by AI and should be considered educational guidance, not professional speech therapy or medical advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any analysis.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, liltra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (if any).
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Berlin, Germany.
Changes to terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
