What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites. liltra primarily uses localStorage (a browser storage mechanism) rather than traditional cookies for its core functionality. However, some of our third-party services may set cookies.
Essential storage
These are necessary for the app to function and cannot be disabled:
- Learner profile & progress — Your assessment results, practice history, and phoneme progress. Stored in your browser only.
- Cookie consent preference — Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies.
- Theme preference — Stores your dark/light mode preference.
Analytics (requires consent)
These help us understand how liltra is used so we can improve the product. They are only activated after you give consent:
- PostHog — Product analytics — page views, feature usage, user journeys. Data stored in US.
- Vercel Analytics — Web performance analytics — page load times, core web vitals.
Error tracking (requires consent)
These help us detect and fix bugs:
- Sentry — Captures JavaScript errors, stack traces, and browser context when something goes wrong.
Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser data. You can also use your browser settings to block cookies from specific domains. Rejecting analytics cookies will not affect the core functionality of liltra.
