liltra ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered pronunciation coaching platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service at liltra.com.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Audio recordings — Sent to Google Gemini API for pronunciation analysis. Audio is processed in real-time and not stored on our servers.
• Learner profile & progress — Stored entirely in your browser's localStorage. We do not have access to this data on our servers.
• Usage analytics — Page views, feature usage, and performance metrics via PostHog and Vercel Analytics. Only collected with your consent.
• Error reports — Crash and error data via Sentry to help us fix bugs. Only collected with your consent.
• Waitlist email — If you join our waitlist, we store your email address to notify you about launch updates.

How we use your data

• To provide real-time pronunciation analysis and personalized coaching
• To understand how our product is used and improve the experience (with consent)
• To detect and fix errors and bugs (with consent)
• To send launch updates if you joined the waitlist

Third-party services

We share data with the following services to operate liltra:

• Google Gemini API — Processes audio for pronunciation analysis. Subject to Google's AI privacy terms.
• PostHog — Analytics platform. Data stored in the US. Only active with your consent.
• Vercel — Hosting and analytics. Data processed in the US/EU.
• Sentry — Error tracking. Only active with your consent.

Cookies & local storage

We use localStorage (not traditional cookies) for app functionality. Analytics services may set cookies — these are only activated after you give consent via our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics and tracking at any time

Since most of your data is stored in your browser's localStorage, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data or using your browser's developer tools.

Data retention

Audio recordings are not stored. Browser localStorage data persists until you clear it. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or we delete them. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.

Children's privacy

liltra is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website.
